We went for lunch as the supper is too late for us. The setting is delightful and the staff outstanding. That said the food was way up there. The first day we got chorizo and blood sausage along with rice and the grilled veggies. The...More

Delicious tender steak, salad and potatoes and great wine all for an excellent price. Service was amazing and a beautiful cozy little restaurant to eat in. Make sure you book, it’s definitely worth it.

Small but very good restaurant. The lomo was the best so far (4 weeks in Argentina). Service was fast (almost too fast). Reservation needed.

I took ribeye and this was so amazingly good and tasty with so much flavor. 500 g shared by two, was recommended. But probably easy to eat this delicious piece just because it's sooo good. Small and cozy restaurant in down town. Best in Bariloche!!

Ok, the fish was fantastic. That being said, the ambience was lacking for what is rated as the best of Bariloche. The bread brought at the beginning of the meal was cold and almost stale — if they are going to bring bread at the...More

Excellent place to enjoy your steak. In case you decide to share a steak and you like juicy rare medium meat ask them to prepare it as one piece instead of one split in two. Nonetheless a must to visit! I

The menu is simple and clever. They do meat and they do it really well. Very generous serves of it too. We sat outside on the terrace on a shared communal table. Service was attentive though the order in which diners were fed was rather...More

Boy, for those who love carne - this is definitely the place to visit. Massively large and tasty steaks with all the sides great as well. Our daughter is a vegetarian, but she was happily fed with their side of veggies and mashed potatoes that...More

We were very lucky to be able to squeeze in without a reservation but seeing how packed the restaurant was, we would recommend booking! The food was absolutely brilliant, service fab and wine list extensive. We really enjoyed our meal and would recommend to anyone....More

Try Facebook, not allowed to write email address here! And don't worry about the clothing, alto el fuego is not an elegant restaurant, just be confortable!

I don't remember any purely vegetarian entree's but like others said, there were veggies as sides that you could order several of. I did have a salad but it was not entree sized.
