It was hard to get. We had to plan 3 days ahead. But it was worthwhile. The location makes even harder to get. The slope is steep. The menu is very "poor" - meat, meat, meat. We took the bife DE chorizo-half a kg, And bife de lomo. ONLY 350 grams of superb meat. The only regret was that it... More

As all the other reviews are saying, you definitely need a reservation. The meat is every bit the perfect size for sharing and cooked expertly well by the asador. Salads are big and fresh. Potato fries could be better but who's counting? And as for ambience, somehow I was expecting something quieter and traditional from Bariloche. It is what it... More

Probably the best restaurant in Bariloche.. We went there around 8:15pm and almost didn't make it because we hadn't a reservation but the lady responsible was very king and arranged us a table We ordered the chorizo. Portion well served and delicious! For dessert we had "final feliz" or happy ending..also very good! Highly recommend!

It is possible that this restaurant serves the best food in Bariloche, but it was extremely noisy and we were rushed through our meal. We were looking forward to a culinary evening out, but our starters were served immediately and we hadn't finished the starters before we got the main course. This is not the way a quality restaurant should... More

We had bife de ojo and it was amazing. We liked the waiting area in the wine cellar and had a nice sumalye that helped us choose to wine. Probably the best steak in Argentina!

Alto El Fuego was fantastic. So good, in fact, that we went there twice for dinner even though we were only there for four nights total. The steak was delicious and perfectly cooked, and great value. One serve is 2x approx 25-g pieces depending what cut you get. The chimichurri was out-of-this-world good, and they will give you as much... More

Got there after we've already visited the other highly recommended steakhouses and were not disappointed. Excellent meat and serving stuff.

Amazing flavor in the steak. Had the lomo and vacio, salad and whipped potatoes. Everything was as good as I can imagine. The folks next to us had the sweetbreads and I was very jealous.
