We visited Chez Manu with a party of 9. We had a lovely oval table which allowed us ample room and the ability to see everyone. The view from the restaurant over the Beagle Channel was great. We enjoyed our dinners. It was one of the nicest meals we have had on our trip to Argentina. We particularly enjoyed the... More

Chez Manu is a place not to be missed in your trip to Ushuaia, not only because of the excellent food but because the view from the restaurant. Since Ushuaia is the southmost city in the world, the sun sets very late in Summer, so if you are having dinner you will experience the light of the sun fading on... More

Located very high above the town and quite the cab ride getting there it offers spectacular views of the town, harbor, mountains all around. My wife had an excellent beef carpaccio starter followed by what she said was the best sea bass she has ever had. I had a perfect French onion soup followed by a delicious king crab au... More

What a great restaurant. Mainly all French cuisine but the real show stopper is the view. Incredible views of the whole bay. The service was also impeccable, the chef came and welcomed us and advised us on what to eat. The Patagonian lamb and sea bass are not to be missed....

Very Nice restaurant in Ushuaia. Staff was welcoming and nice. Food was great. We shared a plate of smoked fish. Then we had à kind crab and lamb. Dessert was great as well. The menu is well priced. Wind by the glass is good as well.

Worth the taxi ride uphill, this place is not to be missed. Manu, the French Chef himself will take the order, then cook to perfection. Delicious King crab, merluza negra (Chilean Sea Bass) and especially, the lamb garrón (front leg) made with lamb from one of Argentina's most famous estancias and selected personally by Manu. Also excellent abadejo (another fish... More

No question out of my 5 nights in Ushuaia this was the best meal. Incredible crab for an appetizer and lamb cooked two ways as the entree. Both made to perfection. Chef Manu (owner) is a true gentleman who checked on each dish. Do not miss this restaurant

I'm staying next door so walked up with no reservation and no idea about what I was walking into. They found me a table that hadn't been reserved and so the food odyssey began. Warm bread with a solid butter / blue cheese to get you going along with a local Pilsner. Then I had the carpaccio of tenderloin, followed... More

Had lunch here with friends. It is high on a hill and not really walkable from downtown. The food and view are excellent and worth the trouble to get to them. The dishes are creative and tasteful. The staff is friendly and efficient. We recommend this place without reservation. Though you may need reservations, call ahead.
