Great little bar tucked away from the madness. Full of locals playing pool and drinking beer towers. Warm welcome despite being the only tourists.

Nice and quiet place to eat. The food was okay except that we had to wait for over an hour because the owner was just going down to the shop to get stuff for it. I think there was a cemetry on the land that was a bit disrurbing for me. Apart from that a very relaxing environment and a... More

Hidden a little out the back- down a driveway between Kilo's Shack & LocoStyle Samoa...behind the Apia cinema. Menu is simple and reasonably priced, and the gardens and atmosphere are peaceful. The cafe is quite a large fale, open air and cool...if you want some lunch out of the sun and hustle of central Apia, Cafe Sene is a bit... More

I knew the block that Cafe Sele was in but it took some finding. Finally spotted it down a driveway, a lovely cafe with indoor / outdoor seating, surrounded by trees and flowers, suddenly transported away from noisy Apia streets to a quiet peaceful haven. We had a great lunch of oka (raw fish) and salad, delicious and very reasonably... More

Although this place is right the middle of town, clever landscaping and planting makes you feel like you are in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed an excellent lunch, and were welcomed by friendly staff. Unfortunately it was near the end of our trip, else we would have returned to try other items on the menu.

A lovely out-of-way open setting cafe & bar surrounded by a tropical garden in the heart of Apia. The owner's son is a lovely guy and the ladies are genuinely happy to chat away and ensure you're well taken care of. A little hard to find tucked away down a shared driveway behind shops, but the walk around Apia to... More

Café Sele offers one of the best breakfast buffets on island but you need to enquire ahead. Breakfasts and lunches are great value for money and also very tasty.

You can skip this restaurant at your own risk and great loss. The food quality and presentation at Cafe Sele is of the highest standard. I vowed to try every one of their delicious dishes but I'm stuck on a few that I now find myself addicted to. They do certain things that make the "customer" want to come back,... More

We arrived in Apia via RCCL Cruise ship for the day and were looking for a local experience. Being from Hawaii we often think we have the market cornered on the "Aloha Spirit". Not so, owners Peter and his wife Kalala have made Cafe Sele a local landmark in the short time since it was built (only a year ago... More
