My wife and I went there for a Friday evening out for dinner. What a surprise. Waitstaff went above and beyond. helped with my Guide dog getting to the table. Offered water for the GUIDE DOG. All this before they had water on the table and within 2 minutes a Beer and Diet coke at the table. Th starters were... More

The turkey burger on the lunch menu is terrific. It's handmade, so not dense or tough. The flavors were a nice blend, and the bun was nicely toasted. The outside patio is shaded with full service.

If you are ever in downtown Phoenix and need a place for lunch, don't forget about Tom's Tavern. It's been a mainstay in downtown Phoenix for decades. The Cobb salad is one of the best salads, but their sandwiches, like the turkey bacon club, is also tasty. Justine was our server and was very attentive to our needs. Keep Tom's... More

My husband and I were going to the opera and wanted a quiet place to eat befor the event. It is only 3 blocks from the symphony hall. The atmosphere was great (no loud music so you could hear each other) and the menu was nice and one page. My husband had the meat loaf and I had steak frites.... More

A little pricey, but the food isn't bad. I had the BBQ salmon. It was very tasty. The service was ok, perhaps a little slow.

I work in downtown Phoenix and I used to really enjoy going here. They were a little expensive for lunch, but the food was always good and there were a lot of choices. I went again recently, and it's just lost its appeal. The menu is less than half of what it used to be and the waitress said that... More

We have gone to this place in the past and enjoyed it. Since then, it has changed hands and the prices went up. Although the food and service is good, I believe the prices are too high to enjoy a long run. The Manhattan cocktail at $14 is good but should be $12 at most. Likewise, the meatloaf is good,... We had just endured a five hour flight with our dog, picked up a car, and parked off Central Avenue to find a spot to eat. All the places seem like the kind with order and pickup, find a spot, and we just wanted to be waited on. Tom's had outside seating as well as inside, and we didn't have... More
