First, you will always get the BBQ snobs who think their state is the best. I have eaten BBQ everywhere while traveling; some hole in the wall joints and some famous award winners. Bottom line, this is as good as it gets. I don't want my BBQ place to feel like a 4 star restaurant - ambiance is low key... More

Phoenix/scottsdale is definitely tackling the bowl concept! I figured I would try the brisket bowl as it was something new to me. Staff was very friendly and kind. Especially when you're lost trying to find it in such an industrial space. Brisket was almost there- needed to be more moist to my preference. Brisket should be easily taken apart for... More

In an industrial park, a converted warehouse, the decor may be simple, but the food is just outstanding. The chicken is the most moist I have eaten. The sides are really good, the corn with jalapeños is really good. Make sure you are hungry and order the 3 meat platter.

Has all of the ambiance of a Walmart tire department, with the added attraction of really bad food and not very friendly employees. We ordered the pulled pork sandwiches with side orders of sweet potato fries and beans. The pork was so dry and over cooked as to be inedible and the fries were nearly burnt. We left most of... Good but certainly not the best in the valley (that title IMHO goes to Naked, hands down). The sausage was the tastiest followed by the pulled chicken then the brisket. All could be helped by some BBQ sauce (several varieties available) and the pulled pork almost REQUIRED it. The meats overall were pretty average. The sides were the standout however.... More

Local co-workers and out of town visitors were raving about this place, so had to try it on my last trip to Deer Valley. Went with another out of town co-worker and we both loved it. We heard it is crowded at lunch, so we went for dinner mid-week and less than 1/2 the tables were full. I like the... More

Went for lunch. This is a busy little place. Has absolutely amazing barbecue. We got the sampler platter which included chicken and pork and sausage we chose to get the upgrade and get brisket instead of sausage. All the barbecue was out of this world amazing also the mac & cheese was a hit with all of us.

Casual, fast food atmosphere. Good pork. Mustard-based sauce was a little sweet for my taste, but still ok. Smoky BBQ sauce was good.

Really great BBQ. Pulled Pork, Sausage, Chicken and Briskett. Sides are great and you will not walk away hungry. Always a line that moves fast. Seating is stark but adequate and a bit noisey. You go there for the food
