Went for lunch on a Friday. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. Extensive menu. Chose the half corned beef sandwich and clam chowder soup. Perfect size to fill me up and I'm a pretty good eater... The corned beef was stacked high and a bit of a challenge to eat. The soup was not too rich, creamy, and a good... More

Chompie's is a chain. We were told that they had the best corn beef sandwich. So on St Pats Day we went there for a sandwich. You have a choice of a full sandwich or soup and sandwich. The sandwich is approx 3" tall. My wife asked. . .do you have a smaller sandwich and the waiters response was "there... More

I had the pleasure of eating here now about 4 times. I had the luck of the Irish today celebrating St. Patrick's day with corned beef, cabbage and boiled potatoes....exceptionally good! A great deli headed towards being an icon.

I'm a native New Yorker drawn to any chance to sample Big Apple deli cuisine when on the road. Chompies advertises itself as a true taste of Queens here in the desert. It was an offer I couldn't refuse. If only I could have! My dream dish of lox, scrambled eggs, and onions was dry and tasteless. The fruit dish... More

Chompies does a beautiful job catering after Bat and Bar Mitzvah services. The food is good. Their recommendations are excellent, and the staff is very very professional! You can't go wrong with their catering! CW

We came here visiting from out of town and ate breakfast. It is a large restaurant but still needed to wait about 10 minutes. It has a very extensive delectable menu and each of us in our party had something different and each of us enjoyed the large portions that were served. If we lived here this would become a... More

Our small group dined at the Scottsdale location (one of five) and had a really good mix of good deli food. From the opening Matzo ball soup and dinner salad to the sweet treats we took home from the expansive bakery everything was very good. My favorite was the hot pastrami sandwich. It was tender yet had the crisp char... More

I love good Jewish deli's and Chompie's does not disappoint. The rye bread is fantastic! The service is prompt. I had a corned beef sandwich, and although a bit pricey, it was very good. We will be back!

One thing greater Phoenix has lacked for so many of the years I have lived here is a traditional Jewish style deli and bakery. Of the few choices available, Chompies is the closest to a New York or Los Angeles deli. It is often crowded and has that same "vibe" as some of the famous big city delis. The food... More
