We went inside with high expectations, Waited twenty minutes without getting anything more than "I'll be right back". There were empty tables there in front of us. Finally gave up and left.

Really good place for American or Mexican food. Owner was very friendly and good conversation. Lots of local came in for carryout.

We did a nice four mile hike in late January (2017) and dropped in for lunch. We had been to the Blue Moon several times in the past. It's not fancy but the food is decent, reasonably priced, and reliable. With only a few non-expensive cafes in Village of Oak Creek, this is not a bad option.

Bland and poor quality. I ask myself, how can you make bland Mexican food? They even make a bad cheeseburger, and that's hard to do. This place probably only exists due to the convenient location

Blue Moon Cafe is a small place conveniently located on 179 next to a Bike shop which rents bikes & just down the street from Bell Rock trails. If you're looking for a cold beer and you're not in a hurry it's fine. There's vintage photos on the wall along with other interesting kitsch to look at. However, the service... More

Such a neat little place. All sorts of things to look at inside the cafe. Lots of "nick nacks" hanging everywhere. Food was great too

We had a late breakfast there. The place was only about half full but the service was a little slow. We ordered breakfast items and it took way to long to get our food. Staff was polite and friendly.

When we drove down to Phoenix on Christmas day, Blue Moon Cafe was the only place we spotted opening. So glad we stopped there. Two lovely ladies not only helped us to order but also entertained us with holiday warm. The best part would be the window view to the rocks. It made our holiday morning more happier!

We should have known better, but a veggie pizza appealed to us more than anything else on the menu. The crust was thin, and the sauce was nondescript and runny. Cheese was adequate, but the veggies were skimpy. several chains make better pizza. Atmosphere is blue-collar coffee shop -- the kind of place that sells inane "humorous" books. The view... More

Came for breakfast and the menu was good. Service was fabulous and watching the server flow from table to table effortless was a treat. She took care of ten tables pouring coffee and cleaning up afterward. Came for lunch and food again was very good
