We tried most of the top restaurants in Sedona over the past week and this was the winner. Roasted corn appetizer was so good we immediately ordered a second serving to share. Passionate staff and clearly a passionate chef in the kitchen. My filet mignon...was outstanding and made even better when the chef prepared it over a criscrossed bed of asparagus and a side of roasted potatoes. Gelato was to die for. All 4 of us were very pleased with our dinners and the service.More

I visited with a group of friends for dinner. We had Alejandro as our server and he was EXCELLENT. We were a bit disappointed at the size of the menu (very few options) but the kitchen allowed us to order a few of the lunch...items that we had seen online. The drinks took quite a long time and were pricey ($15-18 margaritas) but we could see they were short-staffed. The food was pretty good. Alejandro even brought us desserts since we had waited so long, which was much appreciated by the group. The setting is absolutely beautiful. This time of year I would recommend going during the day when it is warmer and sitting outside.More

We ate here for lunch on a Saturday mid-afternoon - with reservations. When we were seated it was 10 minutes until we saw our waitress for the 1st time and her greeting was “Have you decided what you are having?” She didn’t introduce herself or...offer us drinks. We ordered drinks and our meals. Our beers literally came AFTER we had COMPLETED eating our lunch. So odd. Overpriced. Would not return. Do not recommend.More

Love dining outdoors and even better with a breathtaking view at sunset. As you wind down the road - wondering how far... Down the hill from downtown Sedona, with valet (complimentary) parking - enter through hotel lobby and directed not to the entrance of the...restaurant yet the back -- finding our way to the host stand. Thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Drinks were spectacular, ceviche delicious - salmon prepared well. Not rushed! It was a packed house on the patio; service was not as attentive as I would have liked - getting another cocktail etc. Definitely Worth the visit if in Sedona for the experience. Make reservations!!!More

This spot has a great view for sunset. The drinks are delicious and the food menu was very small. Nonetheless I had the pork belly and they were my absolute favorite. It was filled with flavors. The Tacos were good enough to eat. If you...want to enjoy the view and some appetizers this is the spot to go to to. Apparently, the menu was revamp because all the chefs quit. Therefore the menu online didn't reflect what they had in person/contact less. The waiter was very nice.More

Took FOREVER to be served, food was “OK” but was there for almost 2 hours and didn’t even have dessert. The bar was even slower than the kitchen. You have no choice but to valet park and then it was so backed up people were...furious and going and getting their own cars. The pictures on Instagram way over state this place.More

Stopped by for a signature margarita.. very disappointing! I’ve have store bought bottled mixers that were better! Go to Oaxaca.. much better drinks! Much more friendly-less pretentious!

Amara is an oasis on the river right by town but you feel like you’re in the canyons. All of our dining for breakfast, lunch, and dinner were terrific! Especially the burger and the grilled skirt steak by chef Justin were delicious. Unparalleled flavors! Steve,...restaurant manager, and Danny and Juan at the bar made us feel welcome. Their Professional and friendly approach was much appreciated. The bar, fire pits and lawn were top notch and the landscape by Mother Nature was truly spectacular. Thank you for a very special visit!More

We spent four nights in Sedona and our dinner at Salt Rock was the best! We didn’t have reservations but the accommodated our party of 4, with a perfect table. Our server, Alejandro was very attentive and did a great job of answering questions. Two...people had the short rib tacos (they were out of the pork belly tostados which was their 1st choice) but they thought the tacos were good; one had the chicken adobo which he loved; and I had the Gulf of Mexico shrimp which was devine! We had two cocktails each and our bill was around $350, which is pretty pricey but the food was so good and the table/scenery was just fantastic so it was worth it!More

We went expecting a high end meal and were sadly disappointed. Only early evening reservations were available so we expected the place to be packed. Instead there were a handful of hotel patrons, a limited menu and really sad looking furniture. The view was beautiful...but since it was raining we chose to sit inside. I see how coming here for evening drinks on the patio would be nice, but dinner inside was disappointing. We did have good service and the food (mostly) tasted good. The tables were covered in dents and chips - I can't imagine why they wouldn't have put tablecloths down. We ordered drinks, an appetizer and meal - and they all came at the same time. We were dismayed at how little food there was for the price - and we had been paying these same prices for dinners in Sedona all week. The chips & quac was $17 and was a paltry amount - plus the chips seemed stale. We ordered dessert just so we still weren't hungry. Not up to par at all. If your restaurant can't match its norms while you are remodeling, then make some allowances for pricing your menu.More
