Food is extreamley good, service is also. So many things to decide from. Have several items all the time but do ranch out once in a while. Parking is problem but we seem to ignore that

I thought they had closed; however, come to find out, they were NOT! They have the BEST German pastries, Bretzel Rolls, breads, etc. around! Love being able to pick up certain items imported for their shop, especially around Christmas for the advent calenders. Great family!

We stopped for lunch after reading reviews and so glad we did! We went after the noon rush but there was only one table left in the small space. Locals were lined up to pick up boxes and bags of bakery items. The food is fresh, authentic, and delicious. We wanted to try the German items but settled on the... More

Great food and amazing people. This restaurant does take credit card and cash. There is ample parking at the church next door. Great place for lunch, we were seated and had our food out in 10 minutes. No WiFi yet but it is coming soon

The lunch items we ordered were excellent. The pastries we purchased to eat later were also good. I am giving it 3 stars because the service was indifferent until the older lady took over as we finished our lunch and paid. Although we were the only people eating lunch, no one re-filled our drinks. Eventually, we got the attention of... More

Delicious food, great service! (One of the few places in SV that retain good employees.) Had the special and it was enormous! Would recommend sharing a plate with someone you love. Otherwise, good food to get full on.

This is a quaint little bakery that serves authentic German baked goods and lunch. The owner is a very nice German lady that is always pleasant. I always order a macaroon and much more. I can't get out of here with only 1 item, everything is just so delicious! This bakery takes me down memory lane of when I lived... More

Stopped in the Breadbasket with a colleague for coffee and pastry one morning. The hostess put on a fresh pot of coffee for us and served us large cups of wonderful, dark roast coffee. We had the apple pastry with and it was superb. They have a large assortment of other fresh pastries, bread and rolls as well as some... More

This is a great place for sandwiches and soup for lunch time. It may be a little out of the way, but worth the time to find it. They have a busy lunch time, but that's only because the food is very good. They also have pastries and desserts. For breakfast it's great to try a delicious homemade pastry over... More
