After standing on a corner we went a bit off the beaten path and found great authentic Mexican food, waitress was very friendly. Best chicken Chimi I have had. Highly recommended.

It took a few minutes to find this place as it's hidden out by the Lindbergh-Winslow airport but it was worth the drive. A rather small place by most standards but the food was very good and plentiful. A small salsa bar offered many different levels of "heat" to the food. I'll come back again as there some additional items... More

Good salsa, food was typical mexican food, could have been hotter when delivered to the table, hole in the wall ambiance.

Beans were bland, as was the rice. Rellenos were decent, chicken chimichanga had little flavor. Pork chimichanga was good. Free salsa bar was interesting and tasty. This is a non alcohol diner, and sits by the airport. Great service is what we noticed more than anything.

Just as the title says this joint never disappoints. Waiter was awesome. Food was awesome. Even their salsa bar and a decent variety. Little spicy but that's how I like it!!! Must eat here if in Winslow. Just wish they were open a little later.

Food - Excellent Service - Excellent Atmosphere - ok but the food is so good you won't care I didn't use the restroom here so I can't say anything about that. You won't regret dining here 👩🏼‍🍳👩🏼‍🍳👩🏼‍🍳👩🏼‍🍳

Burritos are awesome and Hospitality is out of this world. We flew in after hours and he gave us a ride to our hotel after a short tour of Winslow. This will be a definite stop every time we're in Arizona!

Was passing through Winslow and discovered this place on Trip Advisor. I would have never found it w/o Trip Advisor since you need to go out of your way to get here. If coming up from the South on 89 it is just before you get into town at the very end of Airport Road. I do mean the END... More

Awesome lunch. Follow the road to the end like the other reviews say. Mole sauce was great! Mini tacos were perfect for kids!

Description
A healthier side to Mexican food, this place does things differently. From Scratch, down home, Mom and Pops Mexican (Sonoran / Chihuaha style) food. This little quaint place, set right on the airstip, is run by a couple and there family. First founded in town with a little taco shop on 2nd street (Hillside taco stand) roughly about 11yrs ago has been a local staple thanks to the locals and tourists alike that come out and support. Everything is fresh with a quite a bit of selections. With a little Salsa bar that you can explore.
