Believe it or not, not everyone can do good barbeque. Dixie Pig does and always has, so glad it is still here after all these years and still the same, homey place it has always been. We never use the menu and are always satisfied; the large barbeque plate is too much for one but delicious. Their house bbq sauce... More

I have been coming here since the 1960's and am pleased to report my last visit was back to the standards I was used to for decades. The large pig sandwich was superb--it was full of tasty, chopped bbq pulled pork and it had cabbage slaw without dressing. That is what makes the Dixie Pig unique--they leave the dressing off... We needed the perfect local place to eat for a group of 10 and the Pig was it! Great BBQ menu with great prices and very friendly service. We felt welcomed and cared for. The place is perfect if you want wood panel walls, lots of old local pics on the wall, and a distinct BBQ smell throughout. The pig... More

Needed to feed our crew of 7 and decided on giving The Dixie Pig a try. We hadn't yet tried any delta bbq, and this was just a little off hwy 55. When you walk in it seems really quite small, but there is another room available for busy days. The staff was super friendly. I was pleasantly surprised with... More

Old Blytheville standard. Good food, fairly consistent delta-style Blytheville barbeque. Again, you can't get this terrific barbeque anywhere other than in this small town so Dixie Pig is well worth the trip.

As far as a sit down place to eat in this town for BBQ, I would rate this the best one. The service was good and fairly speedy. The beans are a bit on the sweet side for me, but I think that may be a AR/TN thing. I am from Texas and we don't do sweet as much.

Wonderful service and great sides, however the pig sandwich was very dry and the bbq sauce had too much kick to it

We set out to find the Dixie Pig because my husband remembered eating there 45 years ago when serving in the Air Force. He says it still just as good. It's a family run business based on good food. You can even take home the delicious sauce. They serve one of the best vinegar sauces I've ever had.

Traveling down to Memphis and needed a spot to stop for a late lunch off Hwy 55. Found this quaint little spot recommended on a message board from someone who drove our route previously. Service was super friendly and the place was full of locals. Decor was a bit shabby, but you can tell the place has been there for... More

Excellent food and service. Pulled pork BBQ is both legendary and epic! From the house barbecue sauce to the wonderful coleslaw, it's a gastronomic experience!
