The food is good--especially the Lemon Chicken--at this pretty restaurant, but be sure to stop in when Carlos Funk can treat you to some Blues. He is wonderful!

The day my daughter and I had lunch here we were the only one in the restaurant. We arrived about 1 o'clock. There was a friendly server who was also the cook. The lemon chicken and burger were both delicious and I highly recommend both. The mojito was good as well and my daughter's smoothie was very tasty. The only negative... More

We had a good lunch here. As with most restaurants in the area service is a little slow. Despite that we both had good meals.

We love Blind Lemons! Carlos, the owner, is well-known around town and super friendly, and he plays the blues some nights. The turkey burger is fantastic, as are the veggie burritos. The restaurant, itself, is lovely, and built by the owner.

Cleanest restaurant in San Marcos. The lemon chicken was recommended to us; it was absolutely superb along with the veggies and ice cold beer. Back in a heartbeat!

By far the cleanest restaurant in San Marcos and the only restaurant with western style bathrooms! The lemon chicken is excellent and the beer was ice cold; why try anything else?

Had a really good lunch today and was fortunate enough to meet the proprietor, Carlos, who plays a mean blues guitar. We squeezed four or five great renditions of classic blues out of Carlos who serenaded us while we ate very good food. This is a fun place with TV that will cover the NCAA men's tournament; so we will... More

Food is average, but this is one of the nicer restaurants in San Marcos as far as build quality. Typical, U.S.-style place with tiled floors, track lighting, arched doorways, timber beamed ceilings with skylights, neon signs, ochre-and-yellow colored walls, and quality wooden dining sets. There is a bar, a billiards room upstairs, a patio area with a fountain, etc. They... More

Hamburger came out raw and in comparison to other burgers around town quite small for the price. Good chips. A nice setting but quality of food poor.

My family decided to try Blind Lemon one evening in San Marcos and we had a wonderful evening! We were warmly greeted by Carlos, the owner, who proceeded to play several Blues selections, some original, for us as we ordered dinner. Carlos is an extremely talented musician and this impromptu, private concert was a delight. The food was fantastic! I... More

Constructed in the colonial architectural style with parabolic arches and gardens, Blind Lemon’s reflects the tradition of Guatemala. And set in San Marcos La Laguna, a small Mayan village on Lake Atitlan, surrounded by towering volcanoes, Blind Lemon’s holds out an invitation to travelers who want good food served in a pleasing ambiance.Blind Lemon’s was built by a blues guitarist musician and cabinetmaker who wanted to create a music venue to attract the best in live entertainment, and give value and satisfaction to his customers. The restaurant features weekly Blues Nights, as well as big screen showings of recent Hollywood, documentary, art, and foreign films. We have had theatre presentations and circus performances here as well as a host of wonderful musicians who have played here. We also have a bar and billiards for those so inclined. Blind Lemons also features an wireless internet cafe. The building is large enough to host conferences and workshops and with advanced notice we can serve food for large groups.
