This is located in the Ion luxury hotel. We started with the snack mix which included olives, chicken liver parfait, trout mousse, and cured lamb. We had the lamb shank and beef tenderloin for our main course, both very tasty. Would go back for sure.

Food was great, the view was nice, and it was a nice way to get out of the crowds and chaos of the locker rooms.

Great food; if you want a lot of variety, plan on only eating at Silfra a night or two because the menu does not change.

The few dishes they had were nicely prepared but if you stay there more than a few nights-you have to have the same dishes...

This was the first evening of our honeymoon and we were staying at the Ion luxury hotel, so we figured we would eat there as well. (Also because it took forever to get there and no where else for 20 km or so!!) Appetizer was small portioned, naturally but flavor was excellent. We shared sour dough crisp bread and smoked... And therefore a little complacent? Evening meal - average - for this sort of dining, you expect something a little extra. . . no amuse bouche here. My Charr starter was tasty but delicate portion-wise (my male friend thought it too small). Main courses varied - my fish was v good but my husband's vegetarian mail was rather dull, although... We ate breakfast and dinner here the Thursday before our wedding and the food was outstanding. We ordered the Plaice and the Cod along with a the roe snack. The breakfast had a nice spread of hot and cold items. The dinner was fantastic, we'd eat there again in a heartbeat.

The restaurant is at Ion Adventure Hotel. We checked in late but luckily the restaurant was still operating. Basically, there were no other places to eat within 20km radius. The interior was nicely decorated. Service was good and efficient. Food was nice. the spices used for fish soup was unusual but it worked well with it. The steamed cod filet... More

This small restaurant is located within the (overrated) Hotel Ion. We had both lunch and dinner there with super friendly and efficient service both times. The food was pricey, but that's pretty much true throughout the country. The menu was fairly limited, with 2 fish--one of which (the wolf fish) is listed as a Species of Concern, meaning it's rapidly... More

Absolutely delicious - best part about the Ion hotel is the chef there and the gorgeous setting of the restaurant. The lamb shank was incredible - crispy of the outside and tender on the inside. Soups are great too - loved this restaurant!
