I have to say any birthday, Xmas gathering , work do or just a catch up early bird without a doubt I go here! I constantly recommend to anyone wanting a lovely meal to go here! I do agree it is pricey but the early bird menu is an option. It's always a treat to go there. I'm obsessed with... More

Had visited Avenue on a number of occasions up to September 2016 and to be fair always thoroughly enjoyed it. However, last visit was a real let down in terms of the quality of food. Service was good though.

I have been to this restaurant on several occasions. Not by choice but necessity really. I always feel like we didn't get value for money. There is a lack of choice on the menu & I'm not sure about the 'lamb shank'? I love lamb but this never tastes right. There are constantly new waiting staff being trained in every... More

I was here today for a family dinner and found the menu very basic and not much option to chose from it certainly would not suit everybodies needs. The vegetable soup I had for starters was nice although I would recommend giving the customer a choice of white/brown bread or a roll, I ordered an adult portion of chicken goujons... More

Food is very good but menu never changes. Food now doesn't seem as fresh. You will still enjoy the food and service but where once it was no 1 in my eyes, it's now slipped down a few places...needs updating

Avenue seems to be getting better all the time. We recently had a family Sunday afternoon lunch here and it couldn't be faulted. The food was great as usual, reasonably priced, but the staff were outstanding, especially with our toddler. Atmosphere was buzzing too. Definitely recommended.

I had lunch here last year. It was okay. Got leak and pototoe soup which was very green (which looked a bit strange) tasted grand. In comparison to other restaurants in Maynnoth I would rate this as average. There's a few other restaurants that I would rate higher.

The restaurant is decent side, many people going there. It has lots of choice of wine. The lamb shank is very good. the chick wing appetizer is very large, enough for 8 people :)

Lovely tucked away cafe is just the treat with their delicious menu! Cost effective as they do a lunch combo with soup and wrap or sandwich and coffee of your choice. Lovely cocktails for those who enjoy them! Also option of virgin cocktails for those who don't drink.

For starter I had possibly the nicest bruschetta I have ever tasted followed by a delicious chicken arrabiata and a seriously indulgent sticky toffee pudding. It was all superb. The staff too were friendly and helpful. I can see why it is so highly rated.
