Maybe it was because it was a Monday evening, but this place was very different from the one described by other commentators. Our party of six sat in the restaurant. Only three other couples were there during our two hour meal. The bar was empty. Tabanco serves only full meals, no tapas. The food was pretty good. My Iberian ham... More

We ate here so often be use it was attached to the hotel but on a tapas route walk we also realised it was one of the best! Have the Iberico ham and local cheese, the fish goujons and the goats cheese salad with a local drought beer or glass of wine. About 2.50 - 3 € a dish.

We arrived without a booking, but we're welcomed. The restaurant filled up quickly and is clearly a hit with the locals, never a bad thing. Despite getting busy, the service was quick and attentive, and coped well with our lack of Spanish. Food arrived quickly and was scrumptious, without exception, and our party of 5 ate our way through 15... More

We had got to the hotel too early to check in, but early enough for dinner. The hotel recommended having some food in El Tabanco, the restaurant adjoined to the hotel, which we did. We went to the tapas bar one night, the restaurant another night, and then on the last occasion, back to the tapas bar. In the tapas... More

We visited twice. The first time we had a couple of tapas which were ok but nothing special. Thought we would give it a try again on the rcommendation of reception staff at hotel. Second time very disappointed as menu was quite limited and the food that came was cold. When asked we were told it should be served semi... More

The restaurant of the hotel Alacazar de la Reina. Not worth a visit. Anyway, you'd sit there alone. The waiters do not really care if you are there, because they do not even switch on the lights.

We were only in Carmona for 3 days but went back here twice. Creative menu with plenty of tempting tapas or main meals. Just a stroll from our hotel and the best. Win-win.

Excellent tapas and local dishes, nice place for a col beer on a very hot day, as they usually are on summer in Andalucia.

We called in here to escape a prolonged downpour and tried a couple of tapas in the bar area. All delicious....especially my cod with apple slices and melted Roquefort..( Milhoja de manzana con Bacalao y roquefort)...and a couple of mini buns with grilled beef and green pepper. Good lively atmosphere and full of locals.

We have a bad record at tapas as we always seem to go to the wrong places, get it wrong somehow, but this is a nice lively bar wi a nice selection. We played scrabble on the iPad as we had a decent glass of rosado and tinot 'bino' and a selection of tapas. The locals found the iPad scrabble... More
