Stumbled upon this restaurant and as it looked to be authentic Spanish we decided to have dinner. I had the suckling pig which was a disappointment. There was little meat on the joint and it wasn't very tender. We were overcharged for drinks which when pointed out was corrected and blamed on the "machine". It's the only time I haven't... More

If you want to get some great fresh, local Spanish food that is perhaps a little better than some other places quality wise, then this is a great choice. Lovely atmosphere inside, staff are really wonderful, feels warm and makes you want to stick around for another round of drinks after you eat. Tapas also. No pressure, you can either... More

Just back in Nerja after a 2/3 year break . This Spanish restaurant hasn't changed. Looked after by Bibi and staff ,this restaurant is still as good as ever. Tapas at the bar ,and a full restaurant as well ,the food is good ,the wine is good ,and you really must try this restaurant when in Nerja

Often in Nerja, but never used here before. Decided to try after reading TA reviews. Glad we did. Ate here on 26 November 2016. First thing we noted was that many locals use it -- a good sign. Service was excellent, food very, very good, and house red was extremely pleasant. Will now be on our "go to" list for... More

Hidden away from main area s but just a short walk. Typical Spanish bar with restaurant. Very good bar, waiter very nice and helpful, they have sucking pig available every day. The starter of goats cheese and salad with mango was stunning, not what I expected. Seafood cocktail was also very nice. Partner had the suckling pig, which was good.... More

The tapas in the bar area were really good. We just has 4 between us and they were really tasty. It was almost empty when we walked in but perhaps we encouraged others to join us because before we left the place was full. Hardly any English spoken but very friendly bar staff and very tasty food. Good atmosphere.

El Niño is a tapas bar & restaurant. Although we have often had tapa at the bar we have never eaten in the restaurant. The bar area is fairly compact with seating at the bar and at three additional tables. It is run by Mimi, with help from Maurice. It can vary from very busy to deadly quiet. On a... More
