Have visited Nerja for the last 5 years with my mum. We always have our 1st and last meal here. The food is always a high standard and the service and hospitality received is excellent. Becky is a great hostess, very welcoming and a lovely person. Her husband Steve is a great chef, and can never find fault with the... More

The Cottage Pie was tasty. The stroganof was good, not great. Big portions and not too expensive. Very nice atmosphere. Good service. Excellent value for the money.

I can't review the food as we couldn't wait that long to be served. Only one waiter on duty to hand out menus, take orders and prepare drinks. The rear half of the restaurant was quite full (7pm) but no-one yet seemed to have drinks or menus. After 10 minutes we walked out as I can only imagine it would... More

This food is very filling and the atmosphere is nice, however the food is not very fresh. It's cheapish and you get a lot of food for the price but the dessert is awful and watch the drinks you get because they are quite small. If you're looking for a family dinner that will fill everyone up for an early... More

Visited this restaurant on recommendation and we were pleased that we did. The steak pie was very good a nice pastry with plenty of tasty tender steak. Freshly cooked vegetables, and mashed potatoes or home made chips if you want, with a very tasty gravy. The other dish was chicken stroganoff with vegetables and rice or home made chips if... More

Came upon The Cottage by chance and ate there twice during our week in Nerja. The food was excellent and the choice very good. Price wise it is great value for money. All the staff were very friendly and attentive and this was reflected in the number of customers who seemed to be regulars.
