We came by La Mariposa accidentally. One of those fortuitous moments in Nerja. The owners, Toni and Fina are an absolute delight. What started out as just one drink, ended in the whole evening being spent there.

This little bar is definitely worth seeking out. There's nothing special about it as a bar, very unassuming to be honest. What's special is the genuine hospitality of the couple who run it.

Good tapas bar, locals bar. Beer is good, house wine was decent, tapas were tasty. If you want a Spanish tapas experience this is as good as any. Friendly service, nice to sit amongst locals, ticked all the boxes.

Description
Years ago this was known as a special place to taste hams and chacinas, that's why the street sign mentions it, but now we offer varied dishes of fish, meat and pasta. The tapas here are a claim, we have 20 different tapas and every day can change ..
