The food is excellent but unfortunately the experience was spoilt by the disgusting state of the toilets. This was not just because of a busy day, the sink had longstanding grime as did all the fittings, floor and walls. I'm afraid it makes me wonder what the kitchens are.

Popped in here for a quick lunch with my daughter. As well as table service they offer packed lunches too which I can recommend. We had sandwiches on a choice of home-made white, brown or granary bread, I had the brie and bacon and it was delicious with some crisps and dressed lettuce. The cakes are HUGE and they are... More

Three of us popped in during a shopping trip. Service was friendly and quick, food was delicious and ordering took account of appetites of various sizes.. Portions were generous, so one course was sufficient, but cakes and desserts looked wonderful, do we took some to enjoy later at home.

In a world where coffee shops as opening everywhere it is good to visit one that stands out. We visited mid morning for a coffee and a cake. The food and drink were excellent and the service was first class. I asked for my Latte to be transferred to a mug and this was done without any problem or complaint.... More

I popped in here for my first time as my partner and I had heard that they do a great selection of cakes and small lunches. Well, we now head there almost every time we are in town. It may not be the fanciest of places, or perhaps even the tastiest for lunches but its just such a refreshing change... More

This is a good place if you just want a light brunch, lunch or afternoon tea. The staff are friendly an helpful, and there is wheelchair access to the disabled toilet.. They serve sandwiches, toasties, salads, soups and various ploughman's platters. Als cakes and pastries. Michelin it ain't, and doesn't aspire to be.

Popped in for lunch with a friend and enjoyed a delicious bowl of curried lentil soup and a tasty granary roll. We then had to make the tricky decision as to which cake to share but they all looked so good it was hard to decide so we had two cakes to share! The staff are very cheerful and friendly... More
