A CORKING little cafe. We zipped in looking for lunch on our way to Padstow. And we hit the jackpot. I destroyed a plate of steak and ale pie and veg while my wife Loraine demolished a jacket potato smothered in rich prawns and mouthwatering salmon. Stand out value at about 8 quid each, you just can't go wrong at... More

Visited on a wet Monday morning never having been to Wadebridge before. Opted for the pancakes, bacon and maple syrup and they were fresh and fabulous. Reasonable prices and friendly quick service.

A cracking little cafe/restaurant in Wadebridge. A must to visit after drive to Cornwall and a great start to your holiday. Food always good and great menu with freshly cooked meals. Staff friendly and service good. All day breakfast!

John Young has hit a home run with this little boutique restaurant. Staff was great and we found them a week before they were going to get married. This was real British fare

Had breakfast here a number of times. One had the small breakfast. And the staff were happy to change an ingredient. The rest of us had the Cornish breakfast. The hogs pudding is excellent. All served in really hot plates, beware. Well-cooked and very tasty. Just right to set you up for the day. At £6.50 for the large breakfast,... More

A well presented and friendly venue. We popped in for a bit if lunch and the menu looked inviting. The place was fairly full so that always gives an indication of quality and/or value. I had the belly pork in a plum sauce and wasn't disappointed. Two slices well cooked and the sauce wasn't overpowering. My wife had the homemade... More

From the outside (and even the eclectic decor inside) this eatery looks no different from some mediocre cafe you'd find anywhere. However, we visited for dinner and were treated to chats with the chef himself (a very amiable man) and a totally mouthwatering meal. So good in fact that we took the whole family back the following night. Everything is... More

A smallish restaurant that was very busy the night we visited. The owner was delightful and, even though busy, stopped for a chat. We had the roast of the day - meal was so large we could have shared it! Reasonably priced.

Ate here Friday and Saturday on a short weekend break. Just the job. The food was beautifully presented, reasonably priced, imaginative and delicious. House red to wash it down was very good as well. Thoroughly recommended.
