The food in this restaurant cannot be faulted, it was good, service excellent, but over priced. These were higher than central London prices.

Loving Cornwall and today we went to Rock and then took the ferry to Padstow. Rick Stein has several restaurants and is apparently Cornwall’s biggest employer in the private sector. We booked a table at Rick Stein’s Seafood restaurant. Very smart set up including a...More

Another visit to The Seafood Restaurant and another good meal. Previous visits have been better. They need to up their game and they can. Even on an average visit though would always prefer a meal here over anywhere else in Padstow. Come on Rick!

We have eaten here a few times to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries etc and have enjoyed some excellent meals and lovely evenings. Just to be completely fair this review doesn't relate to a meal as I decided against booking a table. And that is because Mr...More

We enjoyed the food, which was excellent, my Bouillabaisse was a delight. However we found the tables too close together. Perhaps we were unlucky but I don't enjoy eating and finding it hard to converse with my wife because the adjacent tables guests have loud...More

We had not been back to Rick Steins for about 10 years but having moved closer to Cornwall we went back for a special treat hoping it had retained the same quality - no worries there. As with his fish cooking that taught me to...More

Beautiful service and surroundings. Staff are so well trained to be attentive but also know when to leave you alone. Beautiful airy decor. Lovely amuse bouche and olives as we read the menu. Food divine. Wine list and sommelier great and we tried something we...More

Our third visit and still one of our favourite restaurants in the world! Service was exceptional as always and the food is delicious. Lovely little personal touches make it all the more special ❤️ Can’t wait for another excuse to visit! 😋

Three of found the Bouillebaise tasteless. The waiters are, however a cut above the others and were quite knowledgeable and didn't fuss around us too much. Some other friends enjoyed it. Wine very expensive - I don't think there was anything below £ 30 a...More

I don’t know about the plate you were served with, but Rick Stein does have a retail shop in Padstow selling a variety of things including plates and things. You might want to try that?

Opened by Rick Stein and Jill Stein in 1975, The Seafood Restaurant in Padstow is famous for establishing an international reputation for the very freshest fish and shellfish, often landed on our doorstep. Head chef, Stephane Delourme and his team create simple seafood dishes with classic flavours using Rick's recipes. We have a seafood bar right in the middle of the restaurant where you can watch chefs assembling platters of oysters, langoustines and sashimi. No reservations are required for the bar and you can order anything from the a la carte menu.
