We had not booked but were offered a table I suspect because it was about 7.00pm the thinking was if we could be through quickly the table could be used for a later booking. Extensive main menu, but a Tapas menu which we used was most enjoyable service was very good and food was great

If you are looking for a nice homely restaurant with great quality food the Holt is a great place to come. The prices are justified I think and my girlfriend who told me she hated tiramisu decided that my tiramisu was actually quite nice and then stole half of it.

We have been lucky enough to visit the holt and taste 2 menus as they have changed through seasons. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. Beautiful food, the combination of flavours is a work of art. Waiting staff are fantastic, we had a really lovely young lady, who could not do enough for us. Great atmosphere and decor.

We chose this restaurant for a family birthday dinner and we were not disappointed. The restaurant is located upstairs in the pub and although theres is a small menu, all dishes chosen by our party were delicious. My one quibble is that the pub had omitted a starter from our pre-order (which is requested for parties of 8+) .Service was... More

Really liked this busy pub/rest on the main High Street. Sat upstairs to eat which is rustic and charming, good standard of food and an excellent value wine list. Staff and service spot on. Well worth a visit.

This is honestly my favorite restaurant, food wonderful and service so friendly. It is a bit expensive but you get what you pay for. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxing.

Nicely turned out pub at the far end of the High Street. We stopped for lunch and indulged in the various tapas options all reasonably priced and appealing. If you are not a tapas fan, more traditional fare is on offer. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We stopped here for lunch on the way to a holiday cottage in Cornwall and were made very welcome. They have an excellent menu and our food was well-presented and tasty; I had the Morrocan couscous and Col W had a beef sandwich with some chips and even our dog was included as he was given some biscuits- we always...
