Mostly a very good meal - starters were yummy and didn't last long, good choice of cider and ale. Mains were nice - husband devoured his burger, but my steak although tasty, was very chewy. It was rare but I've recently had rare steak that isn't chewy so that isn't an excuse. This was disappointing since everything is sourced locally... More

Visited this pub a few times now as other people have rated it well, but we have never had a really good meal here, tonight will be the last time we visit this local pub, it wasn't busy we were the only diners, the front of house lady was frosty to say the least. I ordered the special roast lamb,... More

Went in about 5ish, we hoped to get some food but the dinner menu doesn't start till 6 and they don't do bar snacks. Decided to have a drink and sit by the fire... coke and lemonade were flat, would have asked them to check the gas but there was no-one to be seen. Was also drafty. In the end... More

We came to the Kilcot on the recommendation of a family member. The place itself is very nice and it seemed ideal as there is a decent play area for children (we had three children ages 5&2) The menu we were presented with was the Sunday lunch menu (no children's menu..but you could have smaller portions of the adult menu)..it... Amazing food!! Had olives and bread and dipping oil with balsamic vinegar. Then had a burger with chips for mains it came with gherkins and tomatoes and onion and cheese. Homemade mayonnaise and tomato sauce. Then the most delicious chocolate brownie for dessert. And such good prices. Will 100% return here.

Looks like any ordinary country pub from the outside but inside it is totally unusual. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable. The food is very good from a well thought out menu, not your usual pub grub, at a very reasonably price. Good choice of ales, cider and wine. There is limited accommodation here which I have only heard... More

We visited here early this evening on our way back to South Wales, after being recommended by a local. Definitely worth popping in. A really cosy, comy feel complete with log burner. The staff were friendly and efficient. The local ale was FANTASTIC! I had the Gloucester cheese burger...and to my pleasant surprise, it was a proper, high quality burger,... More

The perfect place for a cooked breakfast on a Sunday; or any day of the week. A very warm welcome and a wide variety on the menu - everything we had was delicious and great value.

My husband and has visited this pub as we were in the area and wanted lunch. We expected a limited menu and perhaps a choice of sandwiches. We were so pleasantly surprised by the inviting menu, and were not disappointed by our choices. The food was freshly prepared and delicious. The service was friendly and efficient..we will definitely return.
