Had to order at the bar, apart from that service was good. Had patee to start, the bread was ready buttered which resulted in soggy toast. The chilli con carne lacked flavour and was under seasoned. The group next to me complained about their dirty able.

We arrived home from this restaurant 10 minutes ago. I really felt I needed to come on here and leave a review and my feelings as the manager did not seem to care one little bit when I tried to talk to him about our experience this evening. We arrived at the restaurant at 7.30pm. We were warned there could... More

Adjoining the Premier Inn, Burton House provides a range of food options for passing travellers. Decent breakfast with a good selection on offer at the buffet. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Visited with friends. I tried to order the quiche but it was off the menu. So I chose the lasagne. It came all dried up in the bowl served with two slices if garlic bread, and salad. I could only eat a quarter of it. When the waiter came to collect our plates he didn't offer any compensation. Very disappointed.

Very busy, order at counter. Good basic fast food. I enjoyed paprika chicken, salad, coleslaw. And sweet potato chips as a side. Very tasty

Ate there two nights and breakfast once. Menu and staff very good, though we waited over an hour for food on the Sunday night, (estimated wait 45 mins). "Giant" fish was no bigger than a normal one from a chip shop. Liked the option of sweet potato chips. Continental breakfast was ok, but toasting system not quick enough or effective... More
