Brilliant food, a must for any food lover, did the taster menu and lost count of how many dishes we had! Each one clearly made with love. It is a totally relaxed atmosphere and all the staff are amazing. Can't wait to get back there.

I'm a massive foodie and I've eaten in some of the best restaurants in the UK. This is my second visit to Serendipity and I can honestly say the food is as good, if not better than anywhere else I've been. Paul's energy and enthusiasm is evident in the food. The innovative dishes and presentation taste amazing and make you... More

Wow, what awesome feedback. Thank you for praising Dan he really inspires us and makes every day feel like somehow we've been invited to some secret gang that he runs, employing people with learning difficulties could be difficult and it does present challenges but because of Daniel I've learnt that giving people space to shine and not trying to squeeze... Our first visit to the Priory and we had the most fantastic evening. The taster menu is a fabulous experience in a totally relaxed environment. Daniel is a complete joy, as is Izzy and their working relationship together is fabulous to see. Paul is so passionate about the food he cooks and it shows! We counted, I think, 14 courses... More

I don't usually leave reviews but after reading a couple of the ones on here I felt I had to! This was the third time we have visited The Priory and, yet again, we weren't disappointed. All staff work exceptionally hard, they are attentive throughout the entire evening and nothing is too much trouble for them. We arrived at 6:30pm... More

We spent a few days in Lincolnshire and before leaving wanted to book a restaurant for our last evening so we looked at the reviews of local restaurants and saw Serendipity had 5 stars for its taster menu so we booked it. From the moment we arrived and Daniel welcomed us at the door as though we had know him... More

Sorry for the delay in responding, soon after your visit with the help of volunteers and friends we put on our first music festival which raised enough money to provide our first full time apprenticeship for a member of the team with learning dificulties and I've been playing catch up since. Just settled down and catching up. Your review is... More

A hidden gem in the centre of Louth the Priory Hotel has that genteel charm of an old English Hotel. rather like a favourite old overcoat that has seen better days but is all the more comforatble for it. We went for the tasting menu that started at just after seven and finished just after ten. So be prepared; 3... More

Staff couldn't have been more charming, and the fact that Paul engages people with disabilities is a credit to him. It just all seemed a bit disorganised rather than casual. First of all we were told to have a drink and wander around the grounds (which are delightful) and await some canapes to be served, then 5 minutes later the... More

One thing this teaches me is that when you think you've cracked it you probably haven't, I cooked my heart out on Saturday and while I'm normally almost happy with I do I allowed myself a brief moment of almost been happy after cooking for you on Saturday. They were fully booked in the restaurant when we arrived for our hotel booking, so could not accommodate us. However, they sent 2 courses of the 12 course taster menu up to our room for the dog to try. That is so unfair, but I tried a bit of the lamb. Sublime flavour. More importantly, they let us get a... It was so unfortunate that you didn't get a chance to join us for the Tasting menu. However we are glad that you (and the Dog) got a taste of what we do and enjoyed your evening. - We look forward to welcoming you back to try the evening for yourselves! More

We are a tiny and quirky restaurant offering a relaxed mystery local tasting experience to twenty guests Monday to Saturday starting at 7 p.m. with canapes and winding down around 10.30 p.m. Our passion is very much in celebrating the ingredients and seasons of Lincolnshire through a humble menu of several small tasting courses in a relaxed, welcoming and definitely unpretentious atmosphere.
