We discovered The Blue Lion 17 years ago when we found it in the good pub guide and we've been visiting ever since. A beautiful building, steeped in history, set in a pretty village, The Blue Lion serves excellent food which is far superior to...More

Wow, the Blue Lion is amazing. Brilliant, vegetarian friendly, cuisine accompanied by a superb wine list. Breakfasts are also superb, all served in a wonderful traditional setting. Highly recommended.

Yes we do. Dogs are allowed in the bar area, but not the restaurant. The menu is the same in both areas.
