We came for brunch and were not impressed with the bacon sandwiches as very dry-toasted bread rolls and dry bacon. Wish we'd made our own back at our cottage as it was overpriced too.

Is everybody in Staithes really friendly or did we just catch them on a good day? If you want good-value beach-side eats then this is a great place to call in. As well as a friendly welcome, you'll find a range of delicious cakes (warm coble with cream, anyone?) and a selection of traditional sweets to charm the younger members... More

Goats cheese and walnut sandwich and Chorizo, Brie and sun dried tomato wrap are just divine. My other half followed up with tha Coble cake ( it was her birthday after all) was proclaimed to be "like an apple pie in a cake and was wonderful". Just go. Really. Just go.

Great basic food, lovely coffee right down by the sea in Staithes. Well worth the hike 😊 down. Very busy but the two ladies were always cheerful and chatty. The area is great even though it's up and down (mostly down lol ) We are going back there soon

Good coffee and range of homemade cakes. We enjoyed a late 2 nd breakfast of hot drinks, crumpets and currant tea cakes. Small venue but good place to stock up before tackling the hill out of the village!!!

After a brisk stroll down to the village and along the beach we decided to pop in for breakfast. 2 of us decided on bacon baps and the other 2 sausage baps. The lady working there was warm and friendly and when breakfast was served it was lovely, the baps toasted and the meat juicy and tasty. The cakes looked... More

A delightful little café, popular with both locals and tourists. Not much room to sit inside only 4 tables available but more seating is available outside. We had two large coffee's, a homemade scone and a generous slice of homemade cobble cake with cream costing around £10 which isn't excessive in my opinion. The staff were efficient and really friendly.... More
