Visited for tea when staying at a b&b down the road. Was walking distance from the b&b which was perfect. Cosy little pub with lovely food.

We stopped for lunch en route to visit Lawrence Stern's house 'Shandy Hall' that is almost next door. The pub atmosphere is very traditional English pub, comfortable and homely. Excellent meals, generous portions, friendly and efficient service. Here's to the next time!
