This is a lovely little pub with welcoming, attentive staff, great beer and delicious food! There are many choices of Sunday roasts and they are very tasty, a good size and a reasonable price. My only criticism would be the roast potatoes could be crispier......More

I went for a friend’s wedding and the pub catered really well for my gluten free requirements. The food was yummy (especially the carrots!) and the portions were really big. The staff were friendly.

The Talbot, much like many mid Sussex pubs, is great for meat-eaters on a Sunday, but if you are a veggie, you are probably going to be disappointed whilst everyone else tucks into their Sunday roast and you get... gnocchi. Should you wonder what you...More
