Stopped in for Sunday lunch. Had the roast which today was either chicken or beef. Excellent quality and large quantity of everything offered. Very authentic pub with 2 open fires to add to the authenticity/character. Might pay to have reservations or to call ahead.

We liked it so much we went back another evening! Nice country pub in a pretty village, run by friendly people with a friendly clientele with local cask ale... and fabulous food. Go there!
