Had a lovely evening here last Friday...staff are so friendly. We had a lovely meal..steak was perfect..choice of the lounge or bar..we sat in the lounge as it was quiet, but staff did invite us into the bar as there was a entertainment... will be meeting there again.

Nice to visit a traditional local pub with character, good cask ales and great freshly prepared meals & snacks. Recommended!

Visited based on previous tripadvisor reviews. I'd give this zero out five if I could. We were one of two parties in the room eating. We ordered two baguettes that came with chips. They managed to get our orders mixed up with the other party so food for each of us came 20 minutes apart, nice when you wanted to... More

This is a local pub that serves a range of good quality food in the lounge area. Prices for food and drink were excellent. We were there during the first half of the Wales v Northern Ireland football and the atmosphere in the bar was very lively. We then had to move on to Rhyl (we did get the second... More

Stopped off for lunch while passing and it was passt 2pm and everywhere else in the village had stopped serving. Olde worlde atmosphere and it suited me to be taken back in time. Basic menu cooked to order at very reasonable prices. Not at all high end but simple food for those who need a meal because they are hungry.... More

Lunch snacks were very good, soup, sandwiches etc. Clean . Service was very efficient and friendly. I asked if they had Sky in the evening as I wanted to watch Leeds - I know - no comments. Very obliging and put match on even though they had a local darts league match

Went here last Sunday (7th Feb) with my hubby, daughter & her fiance for a belated festive 3 course meal, which we had to unavoidably cancel at New Year. A table had been reserved for us - complete with Christmas Crackers - a lovely touch Sam - much appreciated!! We had king prawn cocktails, 3 turkey dinners & 1 roast... More
