I very often visit the cafe with my children, we all enjoy the delicious food and cakes, in a very friendly atmosphere. The children always head to the reading area while I have time to enjoy the amazing local coffee.

A comfortable relaxing cafe with friendly staff. Homemade lamb cawl, vegetable dahl and ploughmans lunch form part of the menu along with a good selection of cakes. Highly recommended.

Bookish Cafe has a wonderful selection of cakes including vegan friendly and gluten free. Personally the rocky road is my favourite and I would definitely recommend! Being able to buy a book and get a free coffee this January is a win-win! The food there...More
