A lively pub on a Friday night. Had room for me travelling alone. Food was quick, well cooked and came with a starter that I wasn't expecting. Will visit again.

We called in after seeing a recommendation on a Facebook group. We were wary to arrive and managed to find a free table as most were reserved. Two choice of Sunday roast. We both had the chicken, it was absolutely delicious, huge plates, lots of...More

Go here at least once a year. Fantastic food, highly recommended the curry (half & half). Food is delicious and portions massive. Beer is always good, service from staff has also always been very good. Can’t wait for my next visit.

We had a lovely weekend camping in the field next to the pub. Toilets and shower spotless. Pub provides excellent food before 9pm. Ideal location for walking straight from campsite into the hills.

We stayed in the bunkhouse after a hard days mountain biking. Great cosy room and ok breakfast. We spent the night in the pub and everyone enjoyed their meal be it steak or venison pie, all locally sourced.
