We couldn't figure out why this restaurant had so few customers versus other busy places in El Chalten. While perhaps not quite as atmospheric, the service was lovely and the food amazing. I had a delicious trout dish, which really hit the spot after eating...More

I had the salad and grilled lamb. The starter salad was separate veggies over a normal size plate. There was lettuce, carrot, tomato, olives, eggs, and cabbage. The pre-meal bread came out with the usual carrot puree that seems to be normal in this town....More

The food at Fuegia is not cheap, but worth the money. We had pumpkin soup, the trout, a bife de lomo, mousse de chocolate and a cheesecake. Everything was very tasty, they have a nice selection of wines, too. The restaurant is really pretty and...More

Very quiet on the night we were there but served up a very well-prepared trout with lemon sauce, delicately flavoured and a welcome change to the relentless though excellent beef. Like many places in Calafate they serve big portions presumably because everyone is using loads...More

Best steak so far in Patagonia, Chile & Argentina. Good lamb but the steak would have been enough for us both. Washed down with Argentinian Malbec. The place was under duress as they were having power problems but still managed our meals. Potato with steak...More

This was my third dinner in El Chalten and leaps and bounds better than the two other places I ate (despite their having higher Tripadvisor rankings). I had a steak, which was a good, tender, flavorful portion, well-cooked, which came with salad and roasted potatoes....More

Our hotel recommended this restaurant. And that was a good tip ! Great food, quick service and very reasonable priced. We were with 8 people and everybody was happy; fish, meat and pasta lovers. Highly recommended after your walk in the mountains !

The filet steak with mustard sauce was beautifully cooked, and the creamy mustard sauce a terrific accompaniment to the meat. This was served with grilled veggies and a bit of potatoes gratin. The vegetarian lasagne was also delicious. There was trout with lemon, potatoes and...More

Great dinner, everyone was pleased. The meat was cooked exactly as we asked, the tenderloin was fantastic. The mousse of carrots with breadsticks also stood out. Reasonable prices because the meals are complete. This is not a "parilla" restaurant but the meat and other options...More

We went here after hiking all day and were quite early so there wasn't that many people dining yet (7:30 pm). We had both the steak and the lamb and i can say were both extremely happy with our food. The steak was hands down...More

Description
In Fuegia we try very hard to meet the international traveller´s need for a good meal, served in a quiet, harmonious place. We offer a varied and original menu of homemade dishes with fresh ingredients. Besides the typical Argentinian filled pastas and excellent beef you will also find paella, trout, veggies and Indian-style chicken. We open in the morning with self-service breakfast with cereals, wholemeal bread and eggs and we prepare your packed lunch if you like. Dinnertime is between 7 and 11 pm.
