Had lunch here . Service slow but we had a drink and enjoyed views of life on the river. Food good and staff friendly.

We didn't stay at Hotel Grenat but we ate there twice, which should tell you something. It offers the best choice and best quality food in Ranomafana. Dishes with zebu meat were particularly good, but they also do very good desserts (profiterole and crepes were...particular hits with my tour group). Watch out for the ubiquitous vanilla touts who follow you to the door and hang around waiting for you to leave so they can pester you again!More

We came here based on only 8 reviews so it felt a bit like a risk, but this restaurant served one of the best dishes we have had in Madagaskar! Big portions, nice flavours and for very reasonable price!

We kept coming back to this restaurant and highly recommend the crayfish and fish Malagasy! Friendly staff and quick service.

The rooms and bungalows are big and bright, the bathrooms have quite modern equipment (great, hot shower). The staff is very friendly and speaks English as well. The restaurant is also to recommend, only the bread for breakfast was not really fresh. The hotel is...located in the middle of the town next to the river, shops, market, restaurants are close.More
