Booked by our guide so can’t say much for price or value but the hotel was adequate. Room was clean with a fan and mosquito net. Very friendly porters who also pointed out animals in the garden like chameleons and frogs. Nice view of the...river and central to town if you want to walk around the market which I would recommend. You need to pay an extra 3000 Ariary (1$) for WiFi in the restaraunt. Also they accept credit card!More

Really bad customer service! We paid the night before and then the young girl made us pay again the next night because we didn’t get a receipt even though they don’t give them to anyone....first told us one price and when asked for a receipt...said we didn’t pay enough the first time due to her error in the calculations. Will be advising Intrepid to change hotel and not stay here again. Lady was very rude!More

A good place to go to, to try local food. The helpings were generous and the food tasty. Good prices. Plenty of other options to choose from as alternatives.

We ate lunch here one day during our stay in Ranomafana, based on the recommendation of our guide for local cuisine. Most hotels offer a European-style menu and we wanted something traditional for the area. Hotel Manja’s menu features both local and European offerings at...low prices. The restaurant offers dining on a porch by the front entrance or inside in a spacious, cheery room. We opted to forego al fresco dining because of the cool day. The pleasant dining room features nicely spaced wooden tables with white tablecloths. Wait staff proved to be prompt and attentive. I ordered a garbanzo bean dish and my husband opted for rice and zebu. The massive helpings came quickly and both proved to be well prepared and delicious. But though I ate with gusto, I still had much left over. Hotel Manja stands at the age of the village across from the forest. It is an easy walk from anywhere in town. We enjoyed both the setting and the food.More

We went here for lunch. Local food at affordable prices. Quite dark inside the restaurant as it was rainy outside. Food is delicious.

I stayed here with my wife for three nights. Accommodation consists of a little A-frame shaped bungalows, which are really quite charming. They have a mezzanine level with a single double bed and in the main room there is a double bed and adjacent bathroom....Very pleasant to sit on the balcony of the restaurant, have a beer and eat some pommes frites...More

So far the best dinner we had in Madagaskar. Great flavours and lots of choice. On the menu are mostly local dishes, which are delicious, no sandwiches etc. Also the deserts were great.
