This is a great stop after shopping at the market. Their coffee is super. Also great advice on where to go and what to do in Vava'u for free

Have eaten at Tropicana many times and loved it. There is not a lot of choices in Vavau during the "weather season" but Greg always has some delicious food on offer.

This is a staple place in Vava'u. Definitely stop in - plan to spend a few hours to get connected again and to enjoy coffee or something light. This is not the place to go for the service necessarily, but definitely the place for the atmosphere, chats, internet, breakfast and coffee. They also have a laundromat in the back where... More

I don't know what the heck people are expecting when they go to tonga to whale watch. Price of internet price of food blah blah. This place is in the middle of town and great to duck into for a coffee and lunch. The owner is super cool and will help ya sort all kinds of stuff. The lasagna was... More

we went in for Brunch the cafe was empty, two toasted cheese and tomato sandwiches took nearly 25 minutes to arrive at our table. Along with 2 cans of coke we were charged $43 Tongan dollars for an unappetising hard and dry sandwich. Not we would call value for money.

Great coffee and good food. But all the other services that Greg, the owner, helps with are invaluable. He couldn't have been more helpful when we were there, especially in following up with a package that went astray in Nuku'alofa. Email sent, reply received and the package was with me soon after. Thanks so much.

I stopped in to escape the rain for coffee and then for lunch. I suppose that having read the reviews I was expecting something a bit larger and not quite so basic. The food was o.k. (very large portion of fish and chips, but not really well cooked) and I suppose an adequate value. They seemed to cater more toward... More

Yes we are quite a small cafe. we only seat 45. We are not open for dinner. Tonga has 15,000 tourists a year and vava'u gets less than half of those, a very small percentage is classed as backpackers. More

Sweet potato fries, muesli, pancakes, crepes are all good. You can have a snack or a meal here. They also have burgers. Not up market but good value apart from being charged for wifi

The cafe that does everything. From food to bike hire and Internet. Lovely meals of large proportions. Great coffee too.
