We had breakfast here before heading to Hell's Gate. There was a variety of choices and the fruit salad, English breakfast and the French Toast were pretty good. However, the coffee was undrinkable-some of the worst I've tasted and the masala tea was not much better. The view of the lake was nice and relaxing and the server very polite.

The location is superb ! Lovely views over the lake. I stayed in a hut and it was very basic. The toilet smelled pretty bad. The beds were not comfortable at all. Lots of gaps in the walls to let those pesky mozzies in at night and the mosquitoe net was not very good.

Nice place ,wonderful scenery, recommended for picnics and camping. If you love nature you should visit here. The food was not so tasty for me maybe because I love spicy food.. the boat ride was fun for only $20 for a boat of seven

Camped here quite a number of times. If you would like a quiete time out try and go over the week. weekends get crowded. The top camp is far from the lake but has nicer views and is queter. There was a bar at the bottom camp which is about a kilometer or a ten minute walk from the top... More

Definitely try the swahili fish - coconut curry with tilapia and crawfish was out of this world delicious! I tried to eat it as slow as I could to savor it. The pizza is delicious as well as the deep fried crawfish and sukuma wiki with chapati. They have amazing mixed tea in the morning for breakfast.

This is the perfect place to take it easy with a cold beer in hand on a sunny afternoon. You can either rent tents or book a place to stay. The view of the lake is amazing and there is sometimes a party next door. Also, don't forget to try there nachos!! I thought they were delicious.

Just don't be there on a weekend when groups come from Nairobi to party. The music was loud and long.. I would go back to the setting in a heartbeat, but only on a week night.

Stayed for a few days with my fiancé. Beautiful spot on the lake. Great hosts. Food very good. Cycling through hells gate amazing. And boat trip and walking safari in crater lake also a great day out!
