I was on a business visit to Mombasa but ended up wrongly booking a hotel in Diana beach area. This place came to a relief when I found myself 35kms away from the business district of Mombasa. "Nothing calms an Indian down more than a Indian restaurant at the most needed place". The food is authentic with rustic serving style.... More

Shan-e-Punjab does not look like a high-class dining establishment, just a shed with a few tables on the edge of a small shopping centre, but this rustic setting just makes the quality of the food even more of a joy, The owner came across the visit whilst we were ordering, and he was able to ensure that the dish we... When you first see it, the place looks like it could have been abandoned already a while ago. Dont let that fool you, the food is awesome!

We have been visiting this restaurant for the past 6 years and ince again we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The service was excellent and the food to match. A really peacefull and enjoyable meal at very reasonable rates. The curry to look for in Diani Beach

We thoroughly enjoyed 1 veggie and 2 different chicken curries. We all thought it was the best indian we have had in a long time. BUT do not order the tikka or seek kebab, they were both very overcooked. The breads were also excellent

As it goes with every indian restaurant chutneys are a must with most bitings....They served us pickles instead of chtuneys. When we asked the chef to prepare the chutney, he didn't know what we were talking about. In the non-veg dishes we ordered fish amritsari fro starters, the batter used was extremely salty, when we asked the chef to prepare... More

Went for lunch--two of us. Good and polite service. Large choice of menu. We ordered fish tikka as a starter, and honestly, have never had such a disgusting fish dish ever..For the main we had a chicken dish , nothing to rave about, but acceptable. The nans were good. The portions were small for the price being charged. The restaurant... More

Delicious Indian food - super tasty and quick service. The setting is not great, but a good experience. They do take away also. The vegetable balls are excellent!
