I had gone there for lunch after checking trip advisor and was not disappointed by choice.Though we reached there by around 2:30 pm We had to wait for about 30 min. To get the table. We ordered Chicken biriyani , parotta, mutton sukha and special kanappa barbeque chicken. The mutton sukha and parotta with gravy they provided was awesome. Though chicken biryani with jeera samba rice was sort of okay. The barbecue chicken was too delicious. But prices are slightly on higher side.

Friendly type of restaurant with good local cuisine and pleasant ambience

This is a chain of restaurants, but strangely enough they also use the term ‘hotel’ in their advertising and signage for their branches. It is not surprising that the branches of this chain have the same food and drink offerings. Fortunately, both are excellent and very reasonably priced. The same applies to the ambience. The furnishings, toilets and clientele of the locations are largely similar. However, the popularity of the individual branches varies greatly. One of the restaurants we visited was packed and we had to wait (for a short time) for a free table, while the following evening in another branch we were the only guests for a long time. In short: we can highly recommend Kannappa, but we find it difficult to give a specific address. Our tip: ask the taxi driver. We have had good experiences here; the drivers seem to be well informed.

Pathetic food on the trichy kanapppa .

Trichy kanappa is one of the worst food service and behavior from the staff . When there were group of people , each one will have their own preference of food . One of my family member due to auspicious day , he asked the bearer for Veg briyani . The bearer said , Yeah we have veg briyani and brought it . Once we started eating , we could see there are pieces in the veg briyani . Then my family member spits on the plate and started washing his mouth with water . we called the bearer and manager and told about the incident , and they finally saying that the restaurant doesn't serve pure veg briyani, that is plain one which is taken out from chicken briyani without pieces (kuska) . We started thrashing the manager and just stepped out of the restaurant without eating. Really bad experience. even the chetinad dishes also not good compare to coimbatore branch . dont spend a single penny here . Better go to banana leaf rather than this.

Worst staff behavior ever!!!!!

I ordered chilliparathas from the restaurant through swiggy. I just wanted to customize my order by adding extra ketchup instead of onion raita and three disposable forks. The request was intimated to swiggy themselves. Mr. Prabakar who picked up the call was very rude and attended our request in an undesirable manner. He doesn't even know the basics of customer handling. It was a mishap. Cannot expect this kind of service from a reputed brand like yours.

Not worth the hype

I was told that the place serves good Biriyani. Tasted their Chicken as well as Mutton Biriyani. Both were below par in taste. Quantity of rice is too much. However chicken/ Mutton pieces were less comparatively. Overall, not worth going with the hype. Just a normal place.

This branch hotel kannappa mannarpuram food taste is not that nice, working staff approach is not good especially cash counter staff. Restaurant manager Mr. Vasu kumar. His contact number 9585655000 his approach is very worst towards the customer.

On the way to Chennai .. Byepass ample car parking.. spacious dining good ambience.. littlebit costly when campare with quantity. But some item are tasty .. egg fried rice awesome .. Briyani very normal . Ok
