Mambo is the one of oldest restaurant in Toraja. The place very near to Rantepao City. This restaurant does not serve pork, so for muslim friends can come and east there. They serve satay kerbau, nasi goreng, mee goreng and they serve also Pa'piong. The taste is nice. The owner very friendly. You can ask anything about Toraja and he... More

Just across the road from Wisma Maria, we ate here a few times while staying in Rantepao. The food is good, the wifi is free and fast (main reason for coming here actually), staff friendly. Centre of town.

Try Toraja Fried Rice. Really good and tasteful. Not so crowded when I arrived. They serve without MSG. Important because hard to find this kind of restaurant

Mambo Restaurant is one of my favourite restaurant in Toraja. Almost all good taste. Unfortunately the last visit, they didn't have enough stock food to cook that we would like to order, empty fish and seafood stock.

Went to dinner with friends the first night in Toraja Utara. Staff was great, very friendly. The food was amazing and fairly priced. We especially enjoyed the asparagus soup, pumpkin soup, and the stir-fried vegetables too. Highly recommended! Saya makan sama teman2ku malam pertama di Toraja Utara. Staff luar biasa, sangat ramah. Makanannya luar biasa juga dan harganya bagus. Kita... More

The food is great, they cook it immidiately when guests are ordering. Thats why it takes little longer than usual. The price for 2 is around IDR 100 - 150K. Surrounded by city hall, hostels and market.

Stoped there for food. The waitress was adorable, the " Charcoal Burger" was amazing after a week of eating various street nasi/mie gorengs. They have an elaborate menu with lots of kinds of food and drinks/healthy cocktails.
