I was there with my friend for lunch. It was a hot Friday afternoon, but they've installed quite a number of fans & ventilation blowers inside the restaurant to beat the heat. The restaurant is located nearby Alisan Bus drop-off, just a walking distance from...it. Food wise, it was pricey. We had steamed fish, vegetables, salted squid, 2 plates of rice, 2 drinks totaling 1010baht. Fish was OK, salted fish was chewy; you had to REALLY chew it, vege was OK. The place was full of Malaysians. Will I repeat the place? NO.More

This is a Muslim restaurant along the road to Hatyai International Airport and it is famous for its "Kai Tod", deep fried chicken and they ( the “kai” - chicken “tod” – deep fry ) are really awesome. So for the Muslim visitors, this is...a good stopover after landing at the Hatyai International airport to grab some delicious foods. One must have to try it to know how the taste would do to your taste bud..... pleasantly happy...smiling from left to right ear. There is one dish we ordered that Kai Tod Decha is still lacking in skill preparation, ie the " Larb Kai Tod " if I would rate this particular dish alone I would not give any star at all. It is just too salty and the first bite that lime juice will hit you instantly keeping your eyes shut for a long time. Due to its super lime sour. Don't order this ( if they do read this and willing to take my comment positively/challenge to turn this dish around would be their additional sales revenue ). Other dishes are pretty good, som tam is good as well. Service staff are of really friendly and helpful kind. Restaurant setup is pleasant with availability of air conditioned room. Car parking is of no issue, pleasing restaurant decor and it is a “I would most definitely come again” for their "kai tod".More

To each, his/her own... But to me, it's just another famous halal restaurant, the food is nice but nothing spectacular... Unable to give a "wow" factor to it.. Probably the one I can say I enjoyed most is the fried chicken, that's about it

I’m craving for tomyumkung when I arrived hatyai town. We found out this halal restaurant which serve tomyumkung via google. Not bad to try but abit pricey 390baht for a bowl of tomyumkung with only 6 prawns and a few slice of oyster mushrooms. Good...ambient for a dining place and this restaurant just nearby lee gardens, easy to locate. But the way, the branch that I visited is nearby Lee Garden.More

I travel with family of 4 adults. We are looking for Muslim food. Most of halal foods around attraction area price were very touristy and shop always pack. Kai Tod Decha offers local food, big portion & reasonable price. The shop is spacious, clean, decent,...the have menu with pictures and with price list. For tourist from Malaysia/Indonesia or some SIngapore, if you dont speak Thai, you can converse with in Malay/Bahasa Indonesia. Waiters are helpful. Our favorite dish, Sticky Rice with Fried Chicken, Prawn, Kerabu, chicken with cashew nut. Must try the drink - Thai Milk Tea. If you are in Hatyai, strongly recommend to come hereMore

Waited 1-1.5 hours for our orders to be served. Apparently the person who took the orders forgot to key-in the bill this the didn’t prepare the food. This also happened to most of the customers who came at least during our visit. Not only that,...due to their mistakes of not preparing the food earlier, most of the seafood’s stock that day had run out of stock. Terrible service, so-so food.More

Try the Fried Rice at THB65. A portion is acceptable. But one jug of Lime Syrup at THB200 is quite pricey I think. As others mention, the service quite slow. Need to wait for the table to be clean up.
