The hotel’s secluded location made it the ideal place to get away from everyday life - while drawing attention to its own activities. I particularly enjoyed the swimming pools(they added a lazy moat), and the dining services had everything from “le soufflance” to scream cheese on a bagel. We really appreciated the inclusiveness of the hotel, and felt safe throughout our stay; when Mothman found mothballs in the closet, the hotel staff was more than happy to clear them out. Overall we had a great time!

If you like to party like it's 1897 then this is the Hotel for you! The staff is completely transparent and the other guests are a howl. The best part is that every night DJ Jonathan brings down a monstrous party with the Macarena. I think the only negative is that the owner of the hotel really is a pain in the neck but it is forgivable since you can count on him to run a great hotel!

I really enjoyed my stay here! The staff were really nice and attentive. They answered all of our questions and helped us whenever we needed it. Also, the hotel was really clean. Overall great stay. Will be back.

No complaints! The staff was great. The food variety was a bit heavy on the red meats but overall deliciously prepared and wow, the desserts! My room was great and I loved the view of the spooky forest. Very busy but not crowded. All guests were polite. I would return again!

The best accommodation ever, I had a lot of fun here together will all my monstrous friends. It's something really special and unique. I recommend to visit it during autumn when the day is shorter to enjoy the darkness of this place.

We love this hotel! The bed were so comfortable and the food was so good! The manager,Dracula, told me about the hotel’s history saying that 3 movies were recorded there. The wolf pups were not acting that bad because Wayne locked them in a room with entertainment by Frankenstein.I saw Murray the mummy there eating cake and I saw Mavis playing Fortnite with Johnny in the Lobby. The chef was rude but,the food was good...since I am human, they fixed me Burgers and Fries and Powerade.Denis was playing a fortnite solo game. The invisible man was...well...I couldn’t really see him. They had a concert and dance party and they also added a theme park.A lot of people were there and the spa was great....I recommend you staying here!

I stayed here overnight for work. It was easy to get to. The staff were attentive. The room was clean and up to date. There was plenty of parking and it was nice to see local people in the restaurant and bar. I checked out the restaurant menu and only wish it had offered a bit more variety- like yogurt, or oatmeal- but otherwise it was a solid, safe place to stay.

Thank you for your review, we are really professional when it comes to our staff, thank you for noticing that! We are working on the menu variety already we just hired a new foreign chef, you are right we might need to step up our cuisine in order to please everybody's taste even the most extinguished one. We are also focusing on keeping it exactly that way- safe, work trip friendly and solid! We are looking forward to see you soon, sincerely, the owners

The pool is huge and the sauna is relaxing. My sister loved the breakfast buffet and had a bagel with scream cheese. Overall, there were many fun things to do, including a bingo night! I would recommend it to anyone, so long as you aren’t scared of monsters.

The hotel was amazing! The staff were helpful and friendly, the room was cozy, and the food! Oh gods, the food! They had such a large selection of fish I didn't even know where to start! The grounds outside the hotel were beautiful and scenic, the perfect place to take pictures to hang up. The only thing keeping it from a five star experience was the other guests. Most were just fine, and I even made good friends with a tokoloshe who was in the room next to mine. But there was a few that made going about the day a lot less enjoyable. A lot of people there thought I was some kind of mascot for the hotel, even though I'm pretty sure if they were going to have a mascot at all, it would be a bat and not a green feline. There was also a couple times when groups of kids would run up and pull on my tail, which when your tail has a bunch of knots that look like a rope used for tug-of-war games, is bound to happen at some point, but I never expected it from guests in a hotel like this. But all in all, the stay was absolutely worth it. If I'm ever in Romania again, I'm definitely booking a few nights here!

Whether you're traveling alone, with family, or on business, this is the place to go. The food and service are out of this world and Dracula makes sure your experience here is the best possible. The pool is huge and exciting, there is a gigantic kraken or squid that very generously acts as a diving board for guests, that can exceed a hundred feet. The rooms are exquisite, yet cozy, as all the rooms have modern amenities, as well as a more traditional feeling with fireplaces in every room, fire wood is provided, along with other traditional accents in the rooms. But the best part about this hotel are the parties and the people/monsters. Everyone there is very kind and treats each other with respect and when they throw a party, they throw the biggest wildest parties ever. Trust me, if you're headed to this area, you have to stay at Hotel Transylvania.

They ended up putting me in a shared room. How terrible is that. I had to share the bathroom with a poltergeist. It wasn’t so bad at first. But after a while, it became tedious. Try brushing your teeth when there is blood oozing from the faucet. And the fact that the first day, they put me in the wrong room, imagine my surprise going to bed only to find out my sheets, were a ghost. Boy that took all night to try and apologize for. Then, as if that wasn’t enough. I found out that they were friends with the Frankenstein’s. Do you know how awkward that can be? I’ve had roommates who left toe nails on the floor, but for crying out loud, she left an actual toe! For the money its not bad, but be ready for a few problems if you book there.

We are deeply sorry for your inconvenient experience! Thank you for reviewing, this would only help us improve the experience of our guests. We are planning to put a wolf crew in front of every door, so that next time you would feel more secure.

I really liked the place. There was a lot of creepy decor to make it look very "Transylvanian". There was also a pool and guests were swimming in it, but the water was pretty brackish and I believe I saw something snakelike movie under the water. Service was great, but there was this weird guy in a tuxedo that always said "Bla, bla, bla". I couldnt sleep with all the noises of rattling chains, moans and screams. Overall though, I recommend a night or two here, provided you're looking for ambiance and not relaxation.

After reading mixed reviews about visiting Bran's Castle we still wanted to check it out. It was a fantastic experience. The Transylvania Inn was the perfect place to stay in Bran. The view from our room and from the restaurant terrace includes the castle and the beautiful countryside. The mountains surrounding the valley are beautiful. The hotel had a great restaurant and the rooms are clean and super comfortable. We wished we had stayed longer in the Romanian countryside than in Bucharest.

It was a perfect place for a summer vacation with me and my family. We visit here every summer and they have given us nothing but great service. The food was a little odd, but nothing too bad. If I could choose a place to live for the rest of my life, I would choose here.
