We happened on to the Cow Pen on our way through the area and were pleasantly surprised! Ribeye steak was tasty if a bit overdone, husband's seafood platter was delicious. The yeast rolls reminded me of childhood and the salad bar was excellent!
The music was great. Best bean dip, cheese, salsa, & chips ever. The steak was delicious. Great place for group, family, or date night
Pork chop was over an inch thick and sauteed in a rich sauce. I had it served with chunked sweet potatoes in a great sauce. Great meal.
On the bank of the Mississippi River, it's a short drive from Lake Village or Greenville, Mississippi. Nice atmosphere. Live easy-listening guitar player/vocalist. Salad bar was decent. Sirloin steak was overdone, tough, & dry. Rolls are awesome.
