The food is excellent, the service is superb and there is ample parking. The location is only a short drive from Kilbeggan Race Course and the town of Mullingar.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING Food was excellent Service was excellent Atmosphere was excellent AND So was the bill. Extremely affordable Sunday lunch for two adults and two children. Service could not help us enough checking if we needed more veg more juice desert. Will be back again...More

Desert, death by chocolate with vanilla, was delightful and Maeve our server was amazing. The castle isltself and its history are also very fascinating.

Been here numerous times for both lunch and evening dinner. A great little restaurant, always a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. Food is always presented really well and tastes amazing. Prices are very reasonable too. The only thing I would criticise is the potato chips...More

Dined here on numerous occasions. Can honestly say I never had a bad meal here. Service very quick and food always top notch. Despite it being an actual castle it never feels cold or uncomfortable.

The menu had lots of meals listed, so there was a wide choice available but, as I went for a traditional roast (meat) dinner, I didn't pay much attention to other options, sorry.

This 15th Century Castle serves as a Restairant and Coffee Shop located 2 minutes from the M6 Dublin - Galway motorway (Juntion 4). With 5 dining areas we have capacity for up to 200 people. We cater everything from cappuccinos and sandwiches to 5 course dinner menus. This unique setting is perfect for Birthday Parties, Anniversaries, Communions, Confirmations, Tour Groups and social Groups. We are also a HSE approved wedding venue.
