I have never been disappointed any time I have been here. The food is excellent, staff are friendly and the castle setting makes it an unusual place to dine. If you are passing it is well worth a visit.

Staff, Food etc. were second to none. Love the old stone walls. I would not hesitate to go back. Hopefully we get the chance to visit in March.

I came with 3 other relations. It was the first time I'd met them and this was a really good place to come for lunch when you're getting to know people. For the main course, the veg and two types of potatoes came in separate dishes so you could help yourself to what you wanted. There was so much, though,... More

We are castle junkies, feeling right at home in Ireland, we have seen many, this one built in 1411! A very well preserved Irish towerhouse that now has a restaurant and function centre. And centrally heated and cosy toilets...well worth a look, even if your not eating.

This is the worst place I've ever eaten at in 20 yrs visiting ireland on holiday. The staff are rushed and not really bothered either way they just want to get you in and out as quickly as possible. The tables are unclean when you are seated and just cleared away in front of you sitting there. The noise from the... More

Went with parents and two young children. Food was really good and reasonably priced. Deserts were understated on the menu and the cheesecake was a favourite. Serving staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Would definitely visit again.
