I went here to eat with friends one Sunday night. The staff were friendly. The food was good. But the wait seemed unnecessarily long.

Recommended. This is a popular place with locals and hunters from in and out of town. Customers visit for the Southern staples: BBQ, Catfish sandwiches, and Burgers. Portions sizes are commendable. Food quality is OK — average. We assume customers continue to flock this place because of the portions, offering, and the ability to pick up and go — especially... More

Food was great, had the big catfish sandwich. Fries were marginal, wish we would have ordered the homemade onion rings, they looked great. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. Expect to wait a bit on your food as it's made to order. Don't forget to get one of their famous fried pies.

The food is at best average. There is nothing special about it. The customer service needs improvement.

Ray's is the perfect diner for burgers and BBQ. They have a variety of menu items, but this is our to go favorites. Throw in fresh fries and onion rings and you will be a happy camper. Always clean, friendly and enjoyable.

I wanted to enjoy this place. It's the type of hometown eatery that's been around for a while, but isn't as good as you hoped it would be. The BBQ is cooked, not smoked...if you have to ask, don't bother. The beans and potato salad are food service, not scratch. The sauce is something I couldn't make out. All in... More

Ordered the double cheeseburger and a large order of homemade onion rings at Rays, a locally famous restaurant. It was very busy while we were ordering (a good sign) but I happened to notice a customer discarding an order of onion rings before we got our to-go order. Now I know why...there was no seasoning in the batter. My burger... More

Rays is a good place to eat, but at best the food is just average. I have had most items on the menu. All was good, but nothing really stands out as a signature item that defines the quality of the food. That's a problem considering how many years they have been in business. It does have a certain old... More

I have been going to Ray's since I was a child and the burgers are still great! They have a large menu to choose from and I have several favorites that make making a choice hard. I like their fish dinners, double jumbo cheese burgers, jumbo pulled pork barbecue, poor boy ham and cheese, cajun fries, chicken salads, and chicken... More
