We are from Houston Texas. Needless to say we know Mexican food. This restaurant is equal to the best in Texas. Tried other places in Mountain Home very disappointing. Also, the service was great from the staff & the manager was roaming the floor asking for feedback. PS Try the top shelf chicken enchiladas. Ray & Shelby

This is one of my favorite places to go on Sunday after church. They have a great discount if you bring church bulletin. The service is good and I enjoy the food

Tasty Americanized Tex-Mex. If you like El Chico you'll love this place! We pass thru here regularly and this is our favorite stop when we're really hungry. Rarely a wait. The current menu includes cinco enchiladas!!! Yum yum Of course, their fajitas are top notch as well. This time, the young waitress was very professional. Everything came out on time,... More

Pleasant, friendly staff. Food is good, hot and just as pictured on the menu. Seating is fast and efficient. Salsa was good, a bit spicy, and chips crisp and tasty.

This was a large group and we booked the room a week prior. We had a good meal and the food was as expected for the El Chico. The waitress was slow and was slow starting to gather our orders. The chips and salsa started late and we really did not get the time frame together that allowed appetizers., which... More

Typical experience for a chain-restaurant. Food was okay, priced appropriately. Service was good. Would recommend if you want no surprises, both good or bad.

My Husband and I used to eat at El Chicos in our home town and it closed. :( We make a point to visit another location at least once a year. This El Chicos is awesome with great food and service. The chicken chimichangas are yummy. You should check them out. :)
