Visited the restaurant in early October this year. The ramen is really famous and the oldest one in Asahikawa. I tried the salty based soup with pork ramen and the salty flavor really beated my palate, in a good way. It's quite different from traditional ramen soup that we had usually in big city. The noodles is properly cooked and... More

It is located at the basement of a normal building, about 7-minutes walk from the station. We came for dinner at 5:45 PM so we immediately got our seats. Starting around 6PM, more people started to come and they had to wait in line to get their dinner. It doesn't take too long for them to wait because this is... More

Chose this one because don't need to wait in the line for too long and also a famous one too. Decided to try salty soup favor and it turns out much better than what I expected. You can taste not only the salt but also a fresh mix of pork chicken and seafood soup favor. Its famous... More

Surprisingly their miso tastes better than the signature dark shoyu which has a very strong almost herbal taste. Easily accessible as they are a chain.

Try the shoyu ramen and a bowl of the ground beef on top of rice with egg. Delicious! The restaurant is right next to Lawson. As you enter the sliding doors, walk down the steps and there will be two restaurants. The restaurant on the right with the red awning is Baikohken Ramen. A bowl of ramen starts at 750... More

Sometimes, when a restaurant gets really popular and busy, service and food quality tends to suffer in the onslaught of human traffic, but my experience at Baikoken Honten dispelled any fears I may have had in either aspect. Service was fast and friendly, and my order arrived just as promptly. Sweeeet. And what can I say? I had, hands down,... More

Enjoyed this small restaurant in the basement. They gave lots of char siu (pork) and the ramen was very tasty. They have a small size and a large size.

Soup is very light. Soy-bean Sauce Reman is very famous in this restaurant. Must try in Asahikawa.

Got there by occasion with my fiance, after a zoo trip, hungry as wolves. It was the best ramen I ever had in my life. Loved this little simple place, staff was very nice too) the portion was huge, didn't finish even half of it.
