This restaurant is close to the station and it is less than a 5 minute walk away. This restaurant is quite famous for their ramen . We decided to try the ramen and was not disappointed as it was very deliciousĺ and also made you feel warm. If you are ever at Asahikawa you should come and try the ramen and you will enjoy it very much.

A short walk away from asahikawa Jr Station. Food came out fast and piping hot. Santoka has franchises around the world and also in my home country Singapore. Glad to say that the ramen at the main branch tastes the same, if not better than their overseas franchises.

This restaurant is just opposite our hotel (Court Hotel). We went there at about 1.30 pm and was able to get seats for the four of us. The ramen was delicious. We ordered the poached egg. The char siew pork is to die for. We should have ordered more char siew but we were quite full. They stay open till 10 pm (or until stock last). Highly recommended. They do have many branches around the world. Need to try the branch in my country and see if the quality is the same. No doubt it will be more expensive.

Santouka is from asahikawa, hence when in asahikawa, definitely gotta come here. Location is 10m from JR station, beside Route-inn Grand Hotel. Place is not so big, probably can fit 25 ppl max. I notice that most of the visitor are foreign tourists.

Went to this store for brunch - tasted all 4 types of soup. All were excellent - especially the miso and one with pork cheek. Comes in small medium and large sizes. This one is much better than the other ramen store we tried - just 2 blocks away and also in the top 5 restaurants in Asahikawa.

The restuarant was situated right next door to our hotel. We went early as the night before, we noticed a long q. Thank goodness we didn’t have to wait long for our seats. Ramen were good. We had shio, miso n spicy broth, all were delicious. My brother tried a ramen with intestines & he likes it. Tried the rice with green onions and fish flakes, a simple dish yet so tasty. Gyoza were beautiful cooked, crisp on the outside, juicy n soft on the inside. Yums. Price was reasonable too. Definitely worth checking it out.

Asahikawa is famous for its ramen, maybe is mainly due to the soft and smooth mountain water. I have tried different ramen stall for 3 days stay over there, Santoka Honten ramen top most of all. Shoyu ramen came with delicious broth with strong umami taste. texture of the noodle hit the exact chewy spot.Area of the restraunt is pretty small, can be crowded during peak hour.

Ramen is great, and Santoka is famous for his high quality. Unforunately the staff was not friendly at all and so I didn't like my ramen-experience here. Not recommended.

Everything is so balanced with the very rich but not thirsty (afterwards) broth. We finished everything in the bowl, I seldom drink up the broth of ramen as I always find it too salty but for this one, I did! I was so good!

We tried the Shoyu (soy sauce) taste and the Kara-miso (Fermented bean) and they tasted really good. I prefer Kara Miso though, its really savoury. Service is good and permpt.

Nice fast and efficient yummy ramen to warm your tummy. We had the syo ramen and miso ramen plus gyoza. Both soup were excellent and rich, the meat was so tender that it melts in our mouth. Though no kodomo set, they do cater for small, standard and large size bowl. Portion is good. Recommends small portion for ladies.

Near to train station. Their menu is very simple, abt 4 or 5 choices of soup base(miso, spicy miso etc) , gyoza...they hv small bowl and big bowl. Their ramen came with black fungus and sesame. The main difference is their char siew, texture is different and the best. The gyoza is ok, filling not much, a bit loose. Supermarket gyoza taste better. Overall verdict: Santoka ramen is nice but there is another ramen store in Sapporo better.
