Cool place, and outstanding food. Best chicken fried steak since I left Texas. It's in an old general store, and they have left just enough "stuff" to make it interesting. But the real treat is the food. Great service too.

Cotham's Mercantile is home to the hubcap hamburger! They are as big as the name implies! The onion rings are also out of this world good! They do a nice job with crawfish when they are in season! Rumor has it that President Clinton was very fond of this spot.

It was a little confusing with so many people waiting to be seated but worth it. Once we got a table we ordered right away because it took awhile to get a waitress. They were so busy it took a bit to get our food but the burgers were awesome. My daughter scarfed here's down! The building is a little... More

This cozy little spot looks dingy on the outside but once you go in it's a whole different ballgame. Their burgers are delicious and service is pretty good. Good value for money. Would definitely return here.

Fun place to stop. Shared the large burger between 3 people - but got a large order of onion rings - delicious! Sweet tea was great. This place could use a little cleaning - but enjoyed the experience.

My family and I had a great lunch here! The service was fast and very friendly. They have a great comfort food selection on the menu. We loved everything from the Fried pickles, Catfish filets to the Hub Cap Burger. You get your money's worth and will most likely want a to go box. The old country mercantile store atmosphere... Down Home southern hospitality and great food. You got to take an extra 20-30 minutes to look at all the relics and antiques everywhere. Mississippi Mud is sinfully good.

This is an amazing taste of old world Southern home style cooking. The service is so friendly, we were made to feel so welcome even though the restaurant was bursting at the seams on a Saturday lunch shift. Best of all - their fried catfish is gluten free! Decor is like an old mercantile shop as you would expect, with... More

I had the hubcap jalapeño burger. It was huge coming in at 17 ounces. The burger tasted great. Not dry at all. The tomato and onions were very fresh. The onion rings are great too. They make them very big just like the burger. I ended up eating the burger with a fork because I couldn't keep it in the... More
